WHAT'S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Bring out your inner mouse. This is a proper cheese adventure, starting in Mayfair, at the legendary department store Fortnum and Mason. A store filled with wonder and excitement and a purveyor of cheese since 1707. They sell literally tonnes of Stilton every year, so there couldn’t be a better spot to start the crawl.

There will be an interactive cheese trivia quiz, alongside a bit of fizz. Work out some cheese puns in advance if you want to stay ahead of the group. Did you know the word for a cheese lover is ‘turophile’ ? You’re one point Feta off straight away.

This is two hours of non stop cheese.

Expect to be entertained, seriously informed. Every stop along the route has a different story and a different cheese to taste.

Be warned - get your cheese puns ready if you want to earn extra quiz points.

As massive cheese eaters, we couldn't turn down this cheese tour and it certainly delivered on all fronts. Our cheese guide (syn_nic) was amazing! Providing a rich history of cheese; the surprise extra of an additional cheese sample and talk from a Whole Foods cheese master; and more cheese puns than you could shake a stick at. We left with bags full of cheese and heads filled with cheese trivia. A great day out, discovering previously unknown cheesey gems of London. As a group we would all recommend and happily do again.
