This beautiful cottage is located in the tranquil hamlet of Catterlen only 3 miles North of the market town of Penrith and less than a 10 minute drive from Ullswater the 2nd largest Lake in the Lake District.
Set all on the ground floor, this tastefully converted sandstone cottage, originally a cow byre, offers couples a modern and luxurious getaway perfect for a romantic retreat.
The property is located on the owner's land .
Daisy Cottage has been decorated and furnished in a contemporary and boutique style with guest comfort a top priority ensuring a lovely stay all year round.
The cosy cottage has a welcoming and relaxing ambience in a tranquil and rural location. The cottage benefits from an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner where a romantic meal can be prepared and enjoyed before relaxing in front of the wall-mounted flat screen Freeview TV.
The kitchen is well equipped complete with electric cooker, hob, fridge with ice box, dishwasher and microwave.
There is a double bedroom with wall mounted flat screen TV/DVD player with Freeview and a luxurious en-suite shower room with hand basin.
The cottage has private parking.
There is a patio and garden with furniture, ideal for having a drink on a summer's evening or simply enjoying the beautiful rural views. Penrith is a beautiful, historic, market town with lots on offer for visitors.
It has many independent shops, boutique cafes and lovely cobbled streets.
Why not take a trip to the cinema or take in a show at the theatre?
The quaint town of Keswick is only a 25-minute drive away.
Keswick is a great centre point for exploring the North Lakes and has a variety of museums to visit, or you can enjoy a boat trip on Lake Derwentwater.

The bustling market town of Penrith, once the capital of Cumbria, enjoys a central position between the Lake District, the Westmoorland Dales and North Pennines and is ideally placed for taking in all that the region has to offer. Renowned for its wealth of specialist shops, the sandstone buildings of Penrith hide intriguing yards, lanes and alleyways, with a myriad of attractive cottages, gardens and little shops. With a wide choice of excellent pubs, hotels, restaurants and entertainment, Penrith also offers a museum, and Millennium Trails round the historic city streets. Within easy reach of the town is Rheged – an innovative visitor centre with shops, restaurants, exhibitions and a giant cinema screen showing educational and informative films.
