Colina Village

I wanted a quiet and peaceful location and I got what I needed. I went half board and the apartment was huge and set up for self catering. Plenty of space for one and more! The apartment was a little old fashioned but comfortable, beds a little firm but I slept really well. The gardens were beautiful and the pool was enormous. No issues with sunbeds, plenty to go round. Staff who I had contact with were friendly and helpful. Food was good, breakfast was continental with bacon and scrambled eggs. Plenty of choice but no full English if that is your thing! Evening meals were good and the beer cold and refreshing. Nearest supermarket is excellent and about 1 mile walk. Carvoeiro is a 5 euro taxi ride away. If you want to explore further afield I would recommend hiring a car. All in all just the holiday that I was looking for, ticked all my boxes.

Clean good staff maintenance very usefull only down side lots of ants apart from that very good food ok pool nice sunbeds need repairing but end of sesaon expected good locaition reception very useful

This place is amazing. It was my 2nd time here and it was just amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is beautiful breakfast, lunch & dinner. The staff work very hard and will help you with anything. The receptionist booked taxis for us booked trips & sorted our hire car out. The rooms are huge, big kitchen where you can cook. There is a mini market on site to buy food and bits and bobs - if it is closed just ask the staff and they will open it The pool is lovely and its freezing on a hot day! The staff we nicknamed elvis (luis), chicko, the boss & mr worldwide were so funny and entertaining these are great people who work hard and will make your day. The staff made the holiday they deserve praise and a raise! Go to this place you wont regret it. We will return. Love shakira & adele x

offered as alternative too far to walk to resort taxi drivers tried to overcharge on every journey courtesy bus only at set times not very convenient and the walk into from resort was too dangerous..............................................................................................................................

Great base, three generations in our group and we were all very pleased with the facilities and the service, the apartments were very nice and the food was good. we did not realise it was a continental breakfast service however there was plenty for all. only concern was the stairs on the second floor apartments, feel there should have been a stair gate as we had a toddler with us.

Colina Village beautiful place but quiet due to being April . Only downside having to get taxis to Carveiro there and back the centre was busy and bars restaurants all really close by to each other . The beach was a lovely place to be especially sitting in one of the many bars overlooking the sea . We would go again but not in April as we did meet some lovely local people . Staff on reception at Colina Village were excellent friendly and couldn't do enough for you we had quite a rapport with them .
