My name is Adejoke (Joke), the founder of House of Jahzara. The name Jahzara is pronounces (JHAR-ZAARAH) which means Princess. My love for African prints and fashion developed when l was young and later got enrolled in Nigeria in one of the prestigious fashion house after finishing from the university.

I later moved to the UK and due to the hustling and bustling of life, combining family life and studying, the plan was put on hold; yet the burning desire to establish a fashion store continued.

Despite all the challenges l faced, l was determined and eventually able to ignite my passion and plans into the creation of House of Jahzara.

House of Jahzara was born out of a strong desire to produce unique handmade garments inspired by Africa and reflects the African heritage and its contemporary style. My desire is to provide an affordable yet luxury ready to wear brand, from casual outfits to formal events and occasions.

What made our collection different is the vibrant colour of the fabrics used, and we aim to provide an affordable yet luxury ready to wear brand, from casual outfits to formal events and occasions. In addition, we believe in quality and not quantity hence our decision to produce each piece of our clothes in a limited number of printed fabrics and lastly we would be saving you the stress of fabric selection and tailoring.


Our mission is to cater for those who do not have big budget to spend on overpriced clothes. We empower individuals who want to go for a timeless and stylish way of dressing up for both work and leisure. We want to break the norms that dictate the mainstream of women’s fashion.
