- Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2025Color: Smokey BlueVerified PurchaseLove the dye. It worked very well on this poly jacket. I mixed smokey blue and navy and it turned out even better than I imagined. Though, there may have been a little shrinkage, I am very, very pleased. I will be wearing the dickens out of this blue jacket.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2024Color: GraphiteVerified PurchaseThe directions are super simple to follow, but I could hardly read them on the packaging, so I had to come back here to view the pic with the product! But color was good. Got a nice gray color, not deep black, as expected. As directed, WEAR GLOVES! It will stain skin and nails if you’re dying the fabric without gloves on. I forgot my gloves before I started the process, and said oh well after I was already elbow deep in my dye bath…and now have a nice mechanics look to sport for the last couple of days 😊!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 13, 2024Color: GraphiteVerified PurchaseWas exactly the color advertised. Hard to gauge a bit while it's cooking since the fabric is wet and the dye bath appears darker, but you get the right color in the end. I dyed two separate garments and they both came out almost picture perfect as the color on the bottle. However, I did start with just paler colors of what I was dyeing beforehand, so it's not like I was trying to dye red into purple. My starter garments were a light gray and a light blue and I dyed them a darker gray and a darker blue.
Quick and relatively mess free (unless you boil the pot over like I did oops). Whole process took around an hour

- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2024Color: Sapphire BlueVerified PurchaseUsed on roll out awning valance panel. Was Grey and dyed to sapphire blue, came out mint! Boiling water/steam and proper mixing ratios according to the label is the most difficult parts of the process. Pretty easy. Put the valance back up and torrential rains for 2 days had no effect on the color at all. less than 3 days of direct sun faded it to purple, terrible. I am dying it again and applying scotchgard outdoor sun and water shield to see how much that helps. Will follow up if this was a complete waste of time and money (also trying the dye on the 4 curtain panels on the gazebo as blue ones were not an option).

- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2024Color: SandstoneVerified PurchaseI bought a pair of green-gold CastaMer espadrilles for the summer. I love them! But when it hit +100 degrees, embarrassing sweat stains appeared in the fabric soles.
I put the espadrilles in a lingerie bag, washed them with the beach towels, and let them dry in the sun. They looked better but a few stubborn stains remained.
I used a cloth with harsher detergent than super diluted bleach. I ended up with ugly, orange, bleach spots. I ordered the dye but the label says it doesn’t correct bleach stains and reviewers complained the color goes on too light on normal fabric
I took a chance putting dye right out of the bottle directly on the bleach stain. I applied painting tape around the heel and straps, poured the dye into a cap, dipped a Q-tip in the dye, and ‘painted’ the soles of the espadrilles.
After +4 rounds and 1/2 the bottle, the orange spots are covered up. The soles look perfect when the dye is wet. But it dries blotchy where I added more dye on the bleach stain. So better but not great.
