I have used 2 colours of soft Aran weight yarn for the blanket and 2 colours of DK weight for the appliques, a great pattern for using up your yarn scraps!

I have used KIng Cole comfort Aran yarn, main colour 2 x 100g Balls, contrast 1 x 100g ball (USA Worsted)
Most similar Aran yarns will work with this pattern.

Appliques – I have used Stylecraft DK: Lipstick and white, but you can use any colours of your choice. Scraps are all that is needed.

5 Buttons of your choice – approx. 1.5cm

Blanket size - 24.5" x 26.5" Can be made to any size but more yarn will be needed.
