This is a real bourbon barrel top. It has your choice of Woodford Reserve, Bulleit Bourbon, george T Stagg, Booker's, Buffalo Trace, and a few others on the top. If you would like a different brand please contact me to see if it's available.

I clean all the tops then sand them just enough to smooth them out. I want my tops to be rustic but we'll finished. I then seal them with three coats of lacquer. The shelf part is made from part of another top. I also add a metal band around the shelf. This band is from an old barrel. I clean all the rust off, then seal it with 3 coats of lacquer. These bands may be dented or bent. I do straighten them out as much as I can but they are reclaimed. This band helps protect your favorite bottle and adds a nice look.
These beautiful shelves are easy to hang with a pre mounted french cleat. All you have to do is hang the other half of the french cleat on the wall and slip your new shelf into place. The wide 6 inch french cleat keeps your new shelf level and secure. Some use a small single point hanger that can allow the shelf to tip out of level. I include drywall anchors so you are ready to hang your new shelf as soon as it arrives.
The tops measure between 21" and 22" around the shelf is about 7" at it's widest point. And it's up about 6" from the bottom.

Not all tops are the same. Some tops are darker or lighter than the one in the photos.
There may be cracks between the boards and they may not be perfectly flat. This happens when the tops dries after years of being soaked with bourbon.
Shipping may take 1 to 2 weeks, but I try very hard to get your item shipped much faster than that.
