Sequin Cut Out Detail Mini Dress

I bought it for a special birthday party, had so many lovely comments.

This is an absolutely gorgeous dress, and it’s even better in real life! I wore it for my company’s Christmas party, and I received so many compliments, not just from my colleagues, but from other people out and about that evening. The quality of the dress is amazing too, and it made me feel beautiful wearing it. I rarely go out, and have lost my confidence a little, but this dress made me feel incredible. It is expensive, but I got it in the sale, and it’s worth every penny. It’s flattering, the waist is nipped in, and the sequins are much better than other sequins dresses out there, and I didn’t feel like it was shedding them either. It’s a mini dress, but I wore black tights and boots, and didn’t feel over exposed. Overall, this is a luxury dress, which I envisage keeping for years to come. Also I’m 52 and a size 8.

A beautiful dress, and almost a five, but...just little things. It is, of course a mini, but was expecting, at 5'6" to perhaps be not quite so short. But, I will probably wear with dark tights, so should be fine. The overall fit is otherwise true to size and a nice shape.Also, and just a little thing, as much as is pretty well the same with all sequin dresses, so the back zip can be fiddly to do by yourself as the sequins can catch. Will also be adding internal bra strap clips in place to keep my bra straps out of the way and showing through the cut-out details. It will be interesting to see how the sequins do, and hope not much shedding. Would also be nice nowadays to see M&S, and for this price, using recycled sequins. But a solid 4/5.
