Panasonic introduces the LUMIX GH5 II. It keeps everything from the original GH5, but this time with C4K, the inclusion of V-Log straight out of the box, improved in-body image stabilisation (IBIS) and a newly added focus on live streaming from your smartphone.

The Panasonic Lumix GH5 II Digital Camera builds off the huge success of its predecessor, taking the widely celebrated and professional features of the camera and elevating it that bit further. The GH5 Mark II is equipped with an optimised design that offers a 20.3-megapixel Digital Live MOS Sensor with AR coating, encased in a rugged, yet lightweight weather-sealed body. It features an upgraded Venus Engine image processor that provides enhanced image quality, rich in detail and vivid colour. Internal recording up to 4K 60p & 4:2:2 10-bit 30p, with simultaneous output 4K 4:2:2 10-bit over HDMI is accompanied by the option for wireless live streaming in FHD/60p via the simple-to-use LUMIX Sync app. This photo/video hybrid is also equipped with a powerful Body I.S. Look and feel:

Does the GH5 II have image stabilisation?
The GH5 II is equipped with a powerful IBIS system that can be used in tandem with newer Panasonic lenses, offering dual image stabilisation for even smoother video and shake-free still images.
Does this use the same battery as the previous GH5?
The GH5 II does come with the new battery that was launched with the Lumix S5, the more powerful Panasonic DMW-BLK22E Battery. However, the ones that shipped with the original GH5 are still compatible with GH5 II.
