Thank you to my valued customers for your continued support. Please understand most of the fidget blankets in my shop are 'to be made' because of the customization and embroidered name which is done before blanket is assembled and quilted. Therefore because fabrics are discontinued and supplies often discontinued or unavailable, there may be 'slight' differences in the blanket you receive. I try my absolute hardest to duplicate my blankets as closely as possible to photos in listings; I often add photos of the last four or five blankets I have sold in the same design. Believe me I sew all day and night to meet your requests as I am very conscientious. I am a 73 year old disabled senior and I have my health challenges, but I take pride in my work regarding each blanket as my OOAK works of art totally designed and made by me! Therefore every blanket may have my slight interpretation. Many of my customers do not post reviews, but I am encouraged to continue my 'labors of love' as these blankets work! I have received many messages stating this. I have been so busy with orders and have been trying to make more blankets suitable for my shop, but please convo me if you have special requests. Message just received from happy customer who helped me make a Kitty themed blanket for her dad:

PLEASE NOTE: I take special precautions to safely secure all attachments, sewing seams holding attachments at least four times and other seams several times. I also stitch in the ditch, stitching along seams of 6 inch sections again reinforcing ribbon tags, etc. I also seal ends of all grosgrain ribbons to prevent fraying. 🌻🐝

Mainly she loves to crinkle and fold it up and unfold it. Mom has Lewis Body Disease and Alzheimer's and this is an item I would highly recommend to anyone for their loved one. DECEMBER 2, 2020: I am truly blessed to be able to sew as I have received such touching messages from customers who have loved ones they are not able to visit: Here are two messages I received in the past two days:
COPIED: "I just wanted to thank you so very much for this quilt, it has been a blessing. My mom had a ruptured brain aneurysm and since has had a problem fidgeting. We were not able to be with her in the rehabilitation center due to Covid-19 and your quilt has given us comfort to know that she knew she was loved. NOVEMBER 14, 2020: Please shop EARLY! Because of Covid-19 I have been very busy with orders and am mentally and physically tired. It takes at least twelve hours to sew one blanket; I have been sewing daily all summer to keep up, and am very weary plus I have severe spinal stenosis and am in much pain hoping I can continue sewing for therapy! I am also having much trouble finding fabrics and supplies, but I am trying very hard to fill my orders making your blanket as closely as possible to listing photos.
I am very conscientious and devote my heart and soul into serving and hope my 'labors of love' can be respected and loved by those less fortunate than most. Your taking a minute or two to enjoy your shopping here in my shop. And if you purchase please leave a review which is also greatly appreciated and keeps me sewing. Even a thank you is greatly encouraging to me. One negative review really discouraged me for sewing especially when the parcel was delivered safely and timely! She lied and was deceptive in her comment. I just about quit this service to others, but then I know the good people outnumber the unappreciative and negative!

Can you please let me know if there is a time deadline for your order. I am hoping to sew and ship as soon as possible but cannot promise as my shipper and USPS are also delaying service. Often two day USPS Priority Mail required almost a week delivery! Thank you for your patience and understanding if your order is delayed. Bless you all for caring.

With this Coronavirus pandemic I cannot imagine the additional stress it places on everyone. I am sorry but I cannot promise delivery as quickly as it is estimated as there has been an increases in online sales placing more stress on postal system and workers.
Please be assured I am staying at home, live alone and take every precaution to provide a clean and safe environment making my blankets. I am virus-free having my last shipments. Please forgive me if I have to make minor changes on your orders slightly different from the listing photos as I have not been going out to replenish my fabrics, etc. My heart felt concern is extended to all caregivers and their families. Thank you so much for the beautifully made quilt. The personal touches on the quilt and the card are lovely. I am a nurse in a nursing home. I had the quilt made for one of our residents who is a seamstress. Her dementia is progressing so that she has been unable to sew for a few years. When she gets anxious it sometimes helps her to go through a box of material scraps I put together for her. When I saw your quilt on Etsy, I knew it would be something that might calm her and help her connect with a part of herself that gave her pleasure.

I am sewing everyday stocking my shop but I need your help so with Christmas less than a couple of months away please make sure you order early to avoid disappointment.

I am thrilled as one of my quilts is a hit! These are the messages daughter wrote after giving the Mustang car fidget quilt to her dad:

"The nurses, office staff, social worker & OT therapist (great for fine motor skills) all raved over it! As did several other visitors at the nursing home. I gave you ETSY site out several times. Bless you, these are amazing! I hope you sell many more!
His therapist was very impressed! That plastic ball you have attached to the blanket. I ordered these little tools to add on the chain & the head of the hammer just fits into the holes on the ball. He did this over and over again. OT said great therapy!"

Then we had an oopsie...and this is an update from customer:

COPIED FROM CUSTOMER'S MESSAGE: "Quilt was pretty well completely covered with an Ensure chocolate supplement drink (very sticky)! The nursing home called me to let me know as I gave them very strict instructions to not wash it in their industrial washers. I couldn't get in town to get it until the next day so it sat like that overnight. I took the attachments off (which was very easy as they needed cleaned too) and sprayed the whole thing with spot spray and then tied it in a pillowcase & threw it in the washer on delicate w/ cold water (like your instructions said). It came out spotless. Rolled it in a towel to help dry it & then let it lay flat over night. It was dry by morning. You did a very good job sewing this and you would never know by looking at it that it's been washed already. Thank you for your wonderful work, makes me happy to see my dad has something to keep him busy!"

I am deeply touched my quilts are making a difference as this daughter was very frustrated how to help her Dad after watching him (with dementia brought on by advanced MS) twist and squeeze, & pull at his pant legs, always agitated. Then she ordered a customized quilt for him.

This heart-warming email is one of the reasons I continue to make these quilts and why I am here friends. And here is another: I am literally in tears as I have just received the kindest message from one of my customers. I wish to share it with you:
"My father-in-law is in the hospital and his dementia is progressing rapidly (last April could still drive and by end of July was admitted into hospital and has not come home - cannot speak and is hallucinating all the time). We all love his quilt. It calms US down to see his hands gravitate to something fiddly and seemingly productive rather than see him rattle his bed rails. His hands always find something to "do" even if is it just running a fingernail along the edge of some piping or ribbon.

These quilts are a wonderful gift to those who cannot express what they need."

This message is so heart-warming as every stitch is made with love and your loved ones in mind. I have been very busy in my shop and most of my designs have sold out, however I have relisted some of my designs as 'To Be Made' and am hoping to make similar ones to my illustrations. However, please understand I have run out of many of the fabrics therefore may have to substitute with slightly different fabrics. I will try my hardest to replicate all orders as closely as possible to my illustrations in the listings. I am working hard to offer more one-of-a kind 'ready-made, ready-to-ship' quilts. I will also continue to make personalized and custom orders. I really enjoy making these quilts, each quilt made personally with tender love and care.
