The dowel of large size will come united as one pine stick of wood. We won't chop them in half & use plastic connector to link 2 pieces together at arrival.
This way will cost us a bit more for shipping but this's for the best look possible of the product as well as the neat, durability of the hammock during usage. with the connector between 2 wood sticks, the dowel can easily be sagged down at weight of plushies. Hope you will love them ^^
