Our metal art plaques are personalized metal prints that are mounted onto a sturdy acrylic backing for durability and functionality. Equipped with a sawtooth cutout on the backside, and finished in black velvet, your metal art plaque arrives ready to hang and appreciate. Truly a special gift and an upgrade from canvas and paper prints. Our metal prints come in two finish options, opaque and translucent.

Opaque metal has a thin white enamel coating which allows full color printing on top, with deep vivid colors and true whites and beiges. Because of the enamel coating, you will not see or feel the underlying raw metal beneath opaque metal prints.

Translucent metal prints DO show the actual metal beneath the art print. Light colors are somewhat transparent and whites and beiges show off the actual tin color beneath the print. When the light shines on your translucent metal art plaque, it creates a stunning, luminescent effect. Translucent prints offer a much more metallic experience.

Lucky metal is an aluminum / tin blend. Hand crafted soldered metal frames are tin and may be upgraded to copper or brass frames. Expedited service may be added to your order through checkout.

• How do you display unframed metal prints?
Unframed metal art prints are mounted to 1/8" acrylic with a sawtooth hanger cutout. Arrives ready to hang. The velvet backside finish will not mar or scratch your walls.

• What is the difference between Opaque and Translucent metal prints?
Opaque metal prints are printed in full color over enamel coated metal. You will not see or feel any raw metal beneath the printed design. The faux background and/or texture is within the art itself; therefore it will print the same on opaque metal as it does on canvas or paper.

Translucent metal prints are NOT coated in the white enamel first. Primary colors will print opaque but lighter colors and gradient colors have transparency and you WILL see the actual metal color and texture beneath. When light reflects against of your art print, it creates a gorgeous, luminescent effect. ** White and beige colors are almost invisible and appear as the actual metal color. Sometimes this is to the advantage of the artwork (i.e. light text on a dark background has beautiful, high contrast) and sometimes the artwork is redesigned to accommodate this feature (i.e. light text on a light background must be redesigned to have contrast or it will show nothing at all.)

• Do you provide a proof before going to print?
Yes. Lucky Tusk will always send a proof for your review. Your proof will be emailed to the email address you have on file with Etsy and it will be sent from:

• Do you offer overnight service or digital downloads?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer overnight service; however, we do offer an Expedited Service that greatly reduces the production and/or transit time to get your art to you. We do not sell digital downloads.

• What is your Expedited Service option?
Lucky Tusk Expedited Service option ensures the email delivery of your proof within 1 business day, plus a production lead time of 48 hours (72 for canvas) and Priority shipping transit time of 2-5 days. In most cases, this time will total one full week. Standard service is approximately 2 full weeks from the time you place your order.

I use the proofing system in an effort to minimize errors on both of our parts. It is often a much needed step to discover typos and misspellings, as well as an opportunity to make unexpected changes. However, please understand that once your proof is approved, it will be printed exactly as you have approved it. If you subsequently find there was a missed error, I will offer you the option to correct or replace at a deep discount or a nominal materials and shipping cost.

Standard shipping time for paper or metal prints is approximately one week from proof approval. Canvas prints are two weeks. Expedited shipping is also offered through checkout or you can message me for a custom purchase. International shipping is two weeks for all mediums and may not be expedited.

Please understand that delivery cannot be guaranteed when shipped internationally, to PO Boxes, or to AP addresses.

I do strive to have all proofs messaged out to you within 2-3 business days of purchase. Expedited prints have a 1 business day turnaround.
