Dubbed the ‘Bianchissimo’, or the whitest, for the vanilla flowers at its heart, Martini Bianco’s blend of herbs, flowers and white wines such as Trebbiano creates a bright, complex flavour.

Softer, lighter and more delicate style of vermouth with a citrussy aroma, slight bitterness balanced by honeyed vanilla notes. Try it with tonic and serve up snacks with big savoury, aromatic flavours (chargrilled artichokes are a wonderful match).

About this product

White wine is filtered through charcoal, infused with natural botanicals, then sweetened with beet sugar and fortified with spirit.

Entrepreneur Alessandro Martini and master herbalist Luigi Rossi took over the National Wine & Spirits Distillery in 1863, creating Martini Rosso soon after. Today, the iconic brand is part of the Bacardi portfolio.

The Martini range is made in Pessione, a small town just outside of the city of Turin. While production is closed off to visitors, the brand now hosts tours around their museum which has a unique collection of 600 exhibits.

Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino

A rich, complex Vermouth di Torino, based on 150-year-old recipes, this secret blend combines carefully selected wines with rare botanicals, such as red sandalwood and three varieties of artemisia.

"Inspired by the original 1872 recipe this is a great alternative to Campari and rather lovely in an Americano. I’m also drawn by its lovely rich red colour and its cardamom and black pepper spice notes. "
