Marking an order as a gift

Invoice/packing slip, gift wrapping, timing

If you mark an order as a gift, we will not add the price of the item to the receipt/packing slip. We do not supply extra gift wrapping/packaging nor do we mark an item as a gift for customs purposes.

To  make sure that your gift will be delivered on time, please contact us via Etsy convo to verify product availability and for delivery time estimates

We do not guarantee at any time a certain delivery date or time frame for delivery for any product or order. Any listed time for a shipping method is an estimate only. For orders with deadlines please order well in advance.

Customized orders

Available customization

Please note, that downloadable products are not available for customization.

Customization has to be requested and agreed upon before purchase. Customization requests after purchase will not be accepted.

The following customization is available:
· Format resizing from vertical to horizontal (landscape) format
· Size adjustments to larger or smaller formats (upscaling/downscaling)
· Text changes/adaptations (only for designated products)

For any of the above mentioned customization, please contact us and we will inform you about the price, the time frame and possible further steps. Please be advised that the requested customization work we agreed upon will only be made after the purchase of the product.

Thank you for your understanding that any changes to colour, text, font size and font type of an existing artwork, design or the descriptive and supporting text lines would change and spoil the entire visual concept.

Any of these personalized changes or customization won’t affect the design itself, but can change the overall appearance and the visual proportions of the design. If you choose to have changes made, you agree that there can be a change in the overall appearance, visual proportions, aesthetics of the original design and that bySvoon cannot be held responsible for the visual outcome of these changes.

Delayed or lost order

What if your order is delayed?

During the tracking process, orders can show without updates. This doesn't mean the order is lost. During the shipping process, orders are handed over to different processing and sorting centers. Parcels can sometimes stay at a new facility for several days before moving to the next phase. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) can hold packages for up to 45 days without any communication.

Postal delivery delays can occur due to customs, to internal postal procedures or in case of a postal strike or any other reasons of ‘Force Majeure’. We are unable to speed up the delivery process and we cannot be held responsible for these delays.

Delayed orders during the holiday season

Why are there always holiday shipping delays?

The pre-Christmas period is the most busy time of the year for all postal or parcel delivery services worldwide. Try to order early and hide your presents in the closet. There aren’t many better ways to avoid the stress of wondering whether your packages will be delivered on time.

Postal services do not guarantee delivery around the holidays, so we suggest you order as early as you can.

Please refer to our shop policies, in which we clearly state the estimated shipping times. These are estimates only. bySvoon cannot guarantee them and cannot be held responsible for customs and/or postal delays.

Damaged order

Inspecting your order for damage

Please be sure to always check your order for any potential damage upon receipt. It is your sole responsibility to fully inspect the product at the time of delivery. Any and all damage must be duly noted on the delivery receipt in detail and signed by you and the mail carrier or the postal service worker. After receiving a damaged product, contact us within 24 hours for further instructions.

It is absolutely necessary that you send us back the damaged material and its content within 3 days upon receipt, unfortunately at your own costs. Upon receipt of your returned damaged order, a replacement or a partial refund of your order will then be issued.

Incorrect address or missing information and/or unclaimed parcels

Non-deliveries due to incomplete or incorrect addresses and/or unclaimed parcels

To make sure that your order will reach its destination, you must provide a valid recipient’s first name and last name and a correct and valid address.

Non-delivered parcels due to incomplete or incorrect addresses and unclaimed parcels are returned to sender. bySvoon cannot be held responsible for non-deliveries due to incomplete or incorrect addresses and for unclaimed parcels due to unsuccessful delivery attempts. Resending an unclaimed parcel results in additional shipping and handling costs. The returned parcel must be received by seller before resending it.

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes due to the size of the parcel. Certain exceptions may apply.

Multiple orders, packaging, paper types & modifications

How we pack things, choose paper & the right to modify

Depending on the quantity and/or the difference in size of the ordered products, we will combine your items into the same package if possible.

We reserve the right; to choose the adequate packaging, based on the quantity and/or the size of the products; to choose the adequate paper type, based on the size and/or the nature of the products and the right to modify to make changes to the design, titles, subtitles, text, font size and footnotes of the products at any time without prior notice.

As paper is made of raw natural material, some minor irregularities in the structure of the surface of the paper can occur, which do not impact the overall quality of the printed product.

Returns & exchanges and applicable restocking fee

Conditions of return

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. A trackable postal service is recommended. The product has to be returned, wrapped and sealed. If the returned item is not in its original mint condition, we won’t be able to resell it and the buyer will be responsible for any loss in value.

Why can there be a loss in value?

Paper is a very fragile material, that bends and creases easily. If the poster has been unwrapped, unrolled and handled, it is no longer in its untouched, original condition. Therefore, we are no longer able to accept it as a returned product.

In case of an approved returned item, a restocking fee of 15% of the item’s price will be charged and deducted from the refund or the partial refund.
