Here is how you upload the photos as your new app icons with the "Shortcut App" (app should already be on your phone after the ios 14 update)

-Open “shortcuts” app
-Click the + at the top right
-Click +add action
-Search “Open Apps”
-Click “Open App” (icon looks like colorful squares/matrix)
-Click “Choose”
-Search App
**important** -At the bottom of your screen, click the square with the arrow pointing up
-Click “Add to Home Screen”
-Click on the icon & “choose photo”
-Choose your new icon
-Name your Shortcut & click “add” :-)
