All our candles are made of real, natural & raw beeswax. This is not a synthetic beeswax made in factory. Our beeswax is extracted from hives. Container is made of glass. Lid is made of natural wood (not mdf, plywood etc).

About Natural Beeswax Candle
All our candles are made of natural beeswax, produced by our bees in Hertfordshire apiary. We do not add any chemicals, improve otherwise perfect natural goodness as beeswax is.
Each candle is hand poured by us once you place the order.
Hand poured means each candle is manually produced. We don't use any machines. Everything is done by ourselves. Hence, each product is unique.

Our apiary:
Our bees products come from our ecological apiary in Hertfordshire, UK. We do not treat our bees with any chemicals neither feed our bees back with sugar. We extract only that much honey to let bees survive on remaining stores. Hence they are happy and creative ;)
Why beeswax candles?
- They are safe for human and environment. Beeswax is naturally occurring product made by bees. Paraffine (used in majority of beeswax candles) is made of petrol! Soy wax goes through chemical process of extraction from soy oil, its bleached, hydrogenated and perfumed. And more evidence points to its carcinogenic effect! Only beeswax is 100% natural and works for centuries as healer.
- Beeswax candles burn longer and create nice, warm light and emit honey scent. Beeswax candles are known to give bright light, similar to the one sun creates.
- Commercial candles (made of paraffine) emit toxic fumes similar to petrol ones. Beeswax candles provide negative ions that have exactly the opposite effect: they purify the air and refresh your entire body.But please keep the wick at approx 5mm to prevent soot.
Before you lit the candle...
Please make sure you maintain the wick at approx 5mm. This is extremely important in order to guarantee soot free burning. Each type of wax produces soot. Soot is a residue of incomplete combustion of wax. Beeswax melts at much higher temperature than soy wax or paraffin and amount of soot will be much lower. However there is no such thing as soot free candle.
Keep your candle in draft free area. Any vents, fans, opened windows or even constant passing by a candle will cause air movement that impacts adversely the burning performance.
Don't burn the candles in one go. Put if off after a couple of hours and let the candle cool down before re-litting.

Wax is a bee product. Its melting point is around 65C. It can burn your skin if touched while liquid.
