Ear climbers require only one standard ear lobe piercing and are shaped and work like a bobby pin. You shouldn't bend out the hook of the ear climber or anyhow change the earring's shape by force while you put it on.

Ear climbers have a long, curved hook at the back, similar to hook-through drop earrings. To wear them:
1) simply thread the hook through your piercing
2) rotate the ear climber upwards so that the design sits on the earlobe.

Your ear climber should be securely held in place hugging your ear by the hook at the back and the front of the ear climber.

I absolutely love these, however I don’t know if it was me or if I got a messed up one but it fell out of my ear within a few days and I lost it. So though I love it I can’t wear it anymore :( the other one seems fine and stayed in, so not sure if it was just a messed up one. I’m hoping it is because these are great!
