Dambulla Cave Temple

The entrance ticket costs 2000 rupees per person and can only be bought at the ticket counter at the foot of the hill. Before entering the temple we had to remove our shoes so wearing socks is recommended. Remember to wear modest clothing that covers your knee and shoulder while visiting sacred sites. There are lots of street sellers outside the temple selling sarong. It is also possible to rent a sarong to cover your knees before entering the temple.

Anyway, there's nothing interesting about a circle in the museum. After coming out, I climbed the hillside and went to the grottoes. Along the way, monkeys were playing along the roadside, but it was also lively. The so-called Golden Buddha should be the one you see when you enter the door. It's very tall. It can only be seen from a distance, but it can't be approached.

Parked the car, entered the scenic spot, the first thing that came into view was a golden Buddha bell ringing. When you are in the situation, a huge golden Buddha in the sun like fire, directly into the clouds, radiant, afternoon sun hot and shining on the face of the golden Buddha, in the flowers, the perspective of the golden Buddha is actually that kind of matched insight into the meaning of the world. My friend said that I have gone up the mountain. I hurriedly said that you have not bought the tickets yet. You can't go up. Otherwise, it will take 20 minutes to buy it. It is very troublesome. The driver said that this temple does not need tickets. I took a good photo and followed it up the mountain. May not be sports for a long time, I walked this slope up the mountain road breathless. When stepping into the temple, a staff member sat and saw that we did not ask for tickets. After entering, I found that the Grotto Temple is different from the unusually brand new Golden Buddha guarding the Grottoes at the foot of the mountain. It is simple and quiet, as if it is a temple that does not eat fireworks. I walked slowly, watched slowly, picked up the camera from time to time to shoot, and my friends who went there reminded me several times not to take pictures, let Buddha sit quietly, let the murals not be disturbed by the oxidation of light, I really can't help but want to put it into the camera, waiting for me to play back again. There were not many people to visit, the five grottoes were not big, and it only took half an hour to visit slowly.

Danbul Grottoes - Sri Lanka's largest and most complete Buddhist grottoes, where there are 157 Buddhist statues and many color murals painted with natural tree sap, have great religious art research value. In 1991, it was listed in the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO. When we came here, we were first frightened by the monkeys all over the mountain. They were not afraid of people, they were free to run wild on the way people must go. They were sunning and itching. They didn't put the world heritage in their eyes at all.
