You know what I love most about this pattern?? If you make a mistake or miscount a stitch, the hornet's will not care! :) AND, no 2 hornets nest are exactly the same, right?

I use this Crochet Hornet's Nest as a Natural repellent to keep the wasps from re-building their nest on my deck where my hummingbirds feed. It serves it's purpose well! I keep mine in a covered area and it's stuffed with recycled plastic grocery bags.
