REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Please read fully the description of the item you are purchasing before buying.

Should an item be faulty or damaged please contact me before returning it. I will try to sort out any problems as quickly as possible (complying with the UK's Distance Selling Regulations). All refunds will be made via PayPal or via Etsy's direct checkout depending on your payment method.

Under the EU Directive on Consumer Rights June 2014, you now have 14 days from receipt to change your mind and return the item. Please note, you will receive a full refund of the original item and postage but you will be responsible for paying the return postage costs. This complies with the DSRs and the stipulation that all items must be returned.

FOR INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - it is important to ensure that you state that you are 'returning goods to the vendor' for a refund on the customs form and shipping label so the package can be processed properly. Failure to do so may result in taxes being wrongly applied to the return and this will be deducted from any refund given if it occurs.

Under the new regulations we have to offer a cancellation form for customers use - it is optional but regulations stipulate we have to have one available. If you require a cancellation form please request one and I will send it to you.

When your return is received, you will be issued a refund back to though the payment method you used for your order and this will be for the product only. You (the buyer) are responsible for all return shipping costs and for ensuring that adequate packaging is used to protect the item/s return journey. You will need to insure that you are covered and able to claim if any damages occur on the item/s return by using a suitable postage option i.e. proof of posting/certificate or registered mail if the item is above Royal Mail stipulated claim amount.

*Earrings are non-refundable (for hygiene reasons) unless faulty.

You'll find something for everyone and lots of wonderful gift ideas including literary classics like Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights! You will also find cosy inspirations for your home as well as other accessories and apparel now too.

PayPal & Etsy's direct checkout payment accepted - so you can pay by Visa, debit card or Etsy gift vouchers without the need of a Paypal account.

Refunds will be made via the original payment option.

All taxes whether local or internationally imposed are payable by the purchaser.

It is not possible to cancel your order after it has been dispatched.

It will not be possible to cancel any personalised or customised orders if work has already begun on your order.

Shipping

All sales & other promotions exclude shipping costs.

I offer the option of upgrading your postage to tracked services - this is offered at checkout and needs to be paid for at the time of placing your order. Once an order has been dispatched you will not be able to add tracking.

Most orders are dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends) where possible. The dispatch time may be delayed if the information you have provided for your order is incomplete. I will get in touch with you regarding personalised orders and if I spot a problem with your address but it is your responsibility to provide the correct address and supply me with the information I need to complete your order.

UK mail will be dispatched via 2nd Class Mail (this is to keep the postage and packing costs down). Mugs require extra special packaging and/or boxes to ensure their safe arrival. If you would like to opt for 1st Class Mail, please get in touch BEFORE placing an order and I will set up a custom listing for you. Non-UK mail will be sent via standard delivery.

Estimated delivery times from Royal Mail - outside of the Christmas period and other busy periods, delays, strikes etc.

UK customers - usually 3 to 5 days. In rare occurrence can take up to 2 weeks.
Europe - usually between 1 to 2 weeks depending on the County. Please note in some rare cases parcels can take up to 1 month.
Rest of World inc US/Canada usually around 2 weeks. Please note in some rare cases parcels can take up to 8 weeks.

The delivery time is affected by how long a parcel is held in Customs by the receiving country and the occurrence of delays due to mail strikes, extreme weather, high volumes of mail etc. I'm not able to control these external issues.

You can also check with your own Country's mail delivery service for delays before ordering.

Purchasers are responsible for all local charges and taxes. Those ordering from outside the UK may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes which are levied after the package reaches their country and these are the responsibility of the purchaser/buyer. Check your Country's mail and customs information for more details.

When you place an order you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out in my shop policy.

*There are delays occurring with international mail going from the UK into Canada which is affecting delivery times. Mail can take up to 6 weeks. While this is happening, all mail to Canada can only be sent tracked and this has been added to the shipping charge.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Your item/s will be sent by regular airmail (usually small packet mail).

Missing mail is a very very rare occurrence but IF YOU REQUIRE A TRACKING NUMBER there is an additional charge (as charged by the Postal Services). Please use the airmail/international signed for option when requiring tracking and contact me if you have any questions BEFORE PURCHASING.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
The shipping costs includes the inner (bubble wrap, box or gift bag etc) & outer packaging used as well as the postage cost.

MY GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ORDERING IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS

*Orders placed during special holidays such as Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays may experience delays. Your orders will usually be posted within 2 business days (excluding Sundays) on the next available posting date after your purchase but no guarantees are given for delivery times during these periods.

UK MAIL - Allow at least 3 weeks for your order to be delivered during December.
EUROPE - Allow up to 8 weeks for your order to be delivered in time for Christmas
REST OF THE WORLD - Allow up to 8 weeks for your order to be delivered in time for Christmas.

Please place your Christmas orders as early as possible. See my order guidance dates below:

* Rest of the World - order BY the 15th November

I will take a break from the 20th December until 27th December - You can still place your orders during this time but all orders placed after the 20th December will be shipped after Christmas.

Your purchase/s are sent from the U.K.

If you need to cancel an order, you must do so within 2 hours of placing the order.

Care instructions for clothing etc are available in the listing. It is your responsibility to ensure you adhere to them to prevent damage or problems that may occur when not washed or treated properly.

Custom and personalised orders

Custom and/or personalised orders are non-refundable. Please ensure you have reading the product listing details and shop policies fully before making a purchase.

Wholesale availability

Sizing details

Miss Bohemia is a UK shop and dress sizes or print sizes will refer to UK sizes unless stated otherwise.
