Tentrr partners with private and public landowners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor locations. Our campsites are off-the-grid, meaning they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform. Larger parties can also use an extra 5-person pop-up tent stored onsite. You'll also have a picnic table, a dry box for storage, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs for outdoor furniture. Please note that heating units and fire pits may sometimes be subject to fire regulations and temporary burn bans - verify with your Tentrr Host and plan accordingly if these items are unavailable. The availability of other amenities like bedding or firewood also varies from site to site (some sites are more rustic and bare-bones than others), so we recommend reading through the listing description carefully before booking. Lakeside campsite at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains! Enjoy your own private peninsula campsite, just a few steps away from the shoreline. This campsite is secluded on a gravel road, many miles off the highway, but is close enough for daily excursions to Dollywood, Gatlinburg, or the Great Smoky Mountains national park. This campsite is surrounded on 3 sides by water, with the land border being fenced and gated. Additional pictures of our farm can be found on Insta and Facebook under Hunkerdown Hollow. Site guidelines Please be aware that you will be camping in nature. There will be bugs, plants, and animals. Be prepared! If you are just looking for a cheap bed close to Dollywood, and are not prepared for a camping experience, please do not book our campsite. You are able to drive right up to the campsite. It is very tight at the end, requiring about a 5-point turnaround for most vehicles. Close the gate to the campsite and leave all your worries behind. There is a lock on the gate leading to the campsite, allowing you to control road access to the campsite. Bring your own towels and linens, as there is not a cleaning service (or cleaning charge). If you would like to rent linens, there are some available for an extra charge. Don't be afraid of the fishermen! We have world class fishing along our shoreline, and it is not uncommon to see and hear activity from the surrounding lake. Boats will also drop anchor to enjoy the coves around our property. Remember that sound travels on the water! Please be considerate. Get out and explore the lake. Make sure to pass by the lighthouse on Goat Island!
