People who know me are well aware, I always been passionate (read obsessed) about cats. I was spoiled enough to get the chance to grow up with these oh-so-weird-but-adorable creatures. Alas, my adventure-filled adult life didn't allow for the stability required to care for a kitty of my own. However, my travels came to an halt with the arrival of the 'rona, and like many others, I was confined to my quarters for an indefinite period of time.

But I already had my silver lining brewing up. Could I finally have the opportunity to care for some fluffies in my own home? Of course, as a responsible hopeful pet-owner to be, it was out of question for me to permanently adopt a kitty right away, as I'm still planning on skipping around the globe profusely before settling down for good. Unless I find the perfect adventure cat. Looking at you, unrealistic life goal Instagram traveling kitties. But that's another story, I'm straying away. Any-hoo. I figured the best option would be to become a foster home for fur babies in need of a temporary family. So equipped with my Benadryl (hey, what's 1 (or 2) pill a day, if that means stoping my treacherous body from sabotaging my love for furry creatures?), I welcomed some cutie pies in my home. And it's been amazing! I took my new foster mom role very seriously. Those babies were put in my care, so care I will give them. And as any good cat servant would know, one of the primary need of those noble creatures is to be entertained. With a lot (and I mean lots) of free time in my hands and a predisposition for making crafty stuff, I started producing amusement devices for the kitts. And they love it! So I thought, hey, why not make my craft benefit more cats! That's how Catimini toys were born, and ended up on the internets for the cats of this world to enjoy.

I'd like to dedicate this project to the kitties in my life. From the ones that crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈 Cactus, Babu, La Chatte, Enny, Mimi 🌈 to the ones that briefly entered my life but permanently my heart, foster babies ❤️ Freddie & Jessie and Javeline & the kittens ❤️.

Fun fact : En Catimini is a french expression that translates to "on the sly", or doing something in a secretive way, often because it is wrong or bad.
