I am a graphic designer and illustrator who loves cross stitch and have been stitching since I can first remember. I started stitching kits and modifying them so much until a close friend said, ‘You’re the designer, why don’t you start making your own!'. I tried using graph paper, but it was impossible, I simply amend too much. I first discovered StitchCrafts software then migrated onto Ursa Software MacStitch and designing on the Mac has been a dream, I love it. My aim is simple... I strive to make beautiful cross stitch patterns. Charts which are a breeze to use, split into four equal segments and as large as possible on A4 printable PDF's. I try to make them without 'fiddly-bits' (which I hate as a stitcher) and in as few colours as possible, which keeps the material cost down.

I take my inspiration from all things graphic, graphic trends, styles. 60s, 70's, mid century, Victorian. I intend to visit all genres along my journey, from Pre Raphaelite to Art Nouveau. I strive to take all these elements and influences from a style and combine them into the best they can be, modern, geometric, contemporary, mid-century, minimalistic, have all featured in my work and sprinkled with my own design style and based around perfectly balanced colour.

Each chart is in 3 formats colour blocks, pale colour blocks with symbols on the top (like in the magazines) and black and white symbols, to suit whichever printer you have. I love bright colours, and that's the recurring theme to all my patterns. I am sure you won't be disappointed!
