We call this simple, basic apron pattern "The Man Apron" for its a tailored, sturdy design and suitability for being sewn from denim or twill, but it's a wonderful unisex apron that you can personalize for yourself and everyone on your list by adding a fun fabric to line the apron bib - business on the outside, party on the inside! Choose a favorite fabric print, sport, team, activity, embroidered initials or special message!

Great barbequing or grilling apron, the single divided pocket is easy to sew and useful.

Great beginner pattern. Final apron size is one size fits all, approximately 34" long x 25.5" wide. In English with standard US measurements.

You'll need:
• Fabric: 1 yard denim or twill recommended (standard 56” wide), cotton quilting fabric can also be used. For 44” wide fabric with directional print, 1.25 yards will be needed. Cutting layout is provided.
• Facing fabric, such as cotton quilting fabric in a fun novelty print, 6” x 12”
• Two 1” metal D-rings, purchase or salvage from an old belt

Your print-at-home sewing pattern will be delivered via instant download immediately upon purchase. You will need Adobe Reader to view your PDF pattern and regular 8.5” x 11 (or A4) printer paper and a printer for printing the patterns. No paper copy will be mailed. You are purchasing a PDF sewing pattern, not the actual item.

Aprons produced using the information in this pattern may be used for personal use, as well as for sale in limited quantities by in-home sewers.

You'll notice that every listing includes a recommended sewing skill level.

Beginner: Has basic familiarity with sewing machine and sewing tools. Able to sew straight lines and curves. Either familiar with gathering fabric or can follow the provided instructions for gathering.

  Advanced Beginner: Has completed several garment sewing projects. Able to perform slightly more difficult sewing techniques - this may mean sewing a buttonhole, matching seams precisely, finishing a raw edge of fabric with bias tape and the like.

 Intermediate: Has completed many garment sewing projects. Able to perform more complex sewing techniques that use skills acquired from practice.
