Patisserie shop window scene - downloadable cross stitch PDF pattern.

This is a downloadable cross stitch pattern of a charming scene: a raspberry pink bicycle leans against a French patisserie shop window. The bicycle is adorned with summer flowers. Inside the shop there are cakes galore... chocolate gateaux, macarons, cupcakes, eclairs and donuts!

The design is stitched using Anchor Stranded Cotton and also included is a list of alternative DMC threads, should you prefer to stitch your design in DMC Stranded Cotton instead.

The design is 144 stitches wide x 146 stitches high. If it is stitched on 28 count evenweave, (or 14 aida if you prefer), the finished stitching will measure approx. 26.2cm x 26.5cm, (10.3" x 10.4").

The chart is in colour (with black symbols overlaid), making it easy to stitch from and it is saved in 2 different sizes, according to how you prefer to view it. There's a 2 page and a 4 page chart included in the downloads - so that you can choose which one you want to work from. There's also a colour print out of the finished stitching included, with the stitch count details.

Please note: this pattern contains some fractional stitches, so is probably more suited to an intermediate/ experienced stitcher than a beginner.

I am so glad I found this pattern. The bike caught my eye first because I love them and then I saw the shop. When I printed this chart I got excited about starting on the project. It is easy to read and has beautiful colors.
