Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay at Foley's Cottage. We can only apologies the internet was not working for 3 days, this was an outage with BT, due to the terrible storms. The property

Tucked away behind mature hedges and approached via a wooden footbridge, Foley’s Cottage is every inch the Quintessential English country cottage – thatched, detached and tucked away on a quiet lane, impossibly cute and surrounded by a delightful garden. Unsurprisingly, we fell in love with the cottage when we visited, and are sure you will too!

Inside the cottage is cosy and peaceful yet it is full of traditional charms which give it a lovely, historic feeling.

The colours are restful and muted and with the added attraction of good quality furnishings, you can’t help but feel right at home.

A stroll to the top of the grounds is rewarded by sweeping views of the surrounding downs.

In the orchard you’ll find the well-appointed summerhouse providing a wonderfully peaceful haven for relaxing after a day’s activities in this outstanding area perhaps before taking a short stroll to the famous Dove Inn and restaurant just below.

Its instant chocolate box appeal is obvious, and we’d imagine you’ll enjoy it as much as we did.

The delightful market town of Warminster can be found to the south west of Salisbury Plain, at the head of the lush Wylye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Well known for its military connections, the old charm of the town centre has been preserved, where you can still find quaint houses and inns built from the local Warminster stone.

Nearby there are lovely walks in abundance, while no visit to this area would be complete without exploring the house, gardens and safari park at Longleat.

Frome is also a charming and vibrant town, worth a visit. Nearby Lacock Abbey is a must see for Harry Potter fans, as it was the backdrop for many scenes in filming. Foley’s cottage is great for families looking to explore the area of Warminster and the surrounding area.

Note: This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
