Couldn’t get past the first chapter

The narrators voice is incredibly grating, hard to listen to. Bit disappointed but obviously not everyone will find this.

great story, needs a different narrator

while I like James Acaster in podcasts and as a comedian, his poor narrative performance here is detrimental to a wonderful story

Over animated reading

I had high hopes for a good read but I found that James’ reading style is too animated for me. I couldn’t get into the story as I was distracted by his character voices and sometimes it was simply too fast. Not a good read for me, sorry.
