Hi :)

If you got here, it's probably to learn a little bit more about who's behind PENSEE Boutique. Well that's me, Shannon. I'm from Montreal, Quebec in Canada where winters are cold (-30°C cold) and where the best maple syrup in the world is produced.

Tone on Tone paper (the initial name of my company) was born during 2020's pandemic as I was forced to stay in my small (yet cozy) apartment most of the time. I took the time, like a lot of us, to reflect on what makes me truly happy and takes my mind off of my corporate job/busy lifestyle....... And that's creating. I forgot how creating made me happy and at peace.

Furthermore, during these times apart from friends and family, I realized how important it is to stay in touch and connected. In an era where the world is at our fingertips and a text message takes a few seconds to send, still no communication method surpasses the sincerity and individualism of a traditional letter and handwritten message... The rest is history.

And you, what truly makes you happy? xx

In the meantime, stay in touch with close ones or get in touch with a friend/relative you lost contact with. Get a card... Write a message... Take a walk to the post office... Buy a stamp... A letter, before the content is even read, has already said, ''I care about you. You’re someone special.''
