You can take care of your planters and/or your tea light holders the same way you would treat your wall.
The material is concrete, hard as rock, absorbent as sponge.
In normal use with a plant you should choose ones that don't need to much water (succulents etc) or airplants.
It wont be damaged with water but if you exaggerate it might leek. Anyway if it dries, it will return to its original color.
Please avoid watering concrete creations that are hand painted.
The are intended for decoration only, colors might bleed.

Love this item, it smaller than I thought it was even when I looked at pictures ( make sure you pay attention to sizing in the item description) but very happy with it regardless just have to plant another plant as it doesn’t fit the one I bought it for.
