PENGUINS KNITTING PATTERN
Bobble and Bubble are a happy pair of penguins, with little hats to keep them warm on chilly winter days. You can knit your own penguins with this knitting pattern, which includes the instructions to knit Bobble the large penguin, Bubble the little penguin and their hats. The pattern incorporates intarsia colour-work to make both penguins. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the penguins are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; one 100g/280m skein in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and beads for eyes

SIZES
The finished large penguin is 16cm tall (18cm with the hat) and the little penguin is 9cm tall (10cm with the hat).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
