Can I personalise samples ?
Please note all of our samples come non-personalised in stock colours to showcase quality of our work, but leave us a note about your wedding theme and we will send you some paper samples free of charge. We can only supply Day Invitations.
If I place my order online will I see it before its printed ?
Once the order is placed, we will always prepare a digital file ( PDF ) proof within 2-3 working days this will be sent to your e-mail address for your approval (once the full balance or a non-refundable £50 deposit has been paid).
You will then be given the chance to make amendments if they are indeed needed prior to your order being sent to production.
Please check all the details thoroughly, particularly the spelling of names and dates.
The proof will display the colours of your order (colours may differ on diffrent devices so do check more than once device).
If they colours do not appear correct then please notify us in our correspondences.
Only once your order has been approved then prodcution will begin.
Can I personalise the cards / have any text & layout ?
Yes. Wording, cover paper, insert paper, ribbon colour. Everything. Please note we accommodate bespoke and semi-bespoke orders at additional cost. Simply email us with any further details or add a note to Cartalia at checkout.
I've found an invitation I like, Can this be used for day and night guests, but with the wording changed?
Yes. Most of our invitations can be used as both Day and Evening invites, with different wording in one and the other. Some designs have their own Evening design, in which case you can order either one. Please note we do have to have an order min of 30 units.
If I paid a deposit when is full payment made?
Full payment is requested when you have approved your PDF. Please note we will only send the order to printers upon full payment.
What is a hard proof ?
Hard proof is a physical copy of your chosen design with full customisation specified during design process. It is a printed simulation of what your final design will look like.
Please note that a non-refundable fee of £52 will apply for this service. We don't offer hard proofs for non-paper items such as books, frames.
How long will the hard proof take to arrive?

Please allow up to 5-7 working days for the production of your hard proof + 4 days shipping depending on location and delivery service chosen.
Do you know approximately what the printing timescale and delivery will be? Also, can my order be delayed?
After approval of digital proof we require 15 full working days production. Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm
Delivery will be between 3-5 days within the EU and 5-7 Outside of the EU.
Please note that we are not responsible for the time the delivery takes so please be sure to include this in your timeline before ordering. Delivery is exclusive of the 15 working days we ask for production.
Please Note: Orders can become delayed during any time of the prodcution timeline due to busy period and the restocking of items.
Can you confirm the postage service that you use please? I just need to know If these will need signing for?
Samples are sent out via Royal Mail 1st Class Large Letter. No signage needed.
Personalised Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail, DPD , UPS or DHL depending on delivery service chosen for your parcel. It will need signing for.
Rush orders are shipped via overnight DHL 24h delivery. It will need signing for.
Please Note: Delivery can not be made over the weekend. The couriers only provide services Monday - Friday
Where is my order, you said it would be with me in 15 days?
Once we receive your approval we then send your artworks over to the production team.
We require 15 FULL working days to complete your order. Please note that this is exclusive of weekends and bank holidays. This means your 15 working days will start on the next full working day from your approval.
The 15 working days is not inclusive of delivery, rather solely for the production of your order. The shipment of your order will happen only once the 15 working days are complete.
On the eleventh working day from your approval, your order will then be marked and shipped.
We will provide you with a tracking number for you to be able to track your parcel to your door.
