LARGE 17kg FLYWHEEL
A large flywheel is essential for a smooth, balanced ride on an indoor exercise bike. This compact exercise bike has a large 17kg direct belt-driven flywheel, ensuring effortless performance every time.
TRIPLE ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
The triple adjustment system allows you to create perfect alignment and posture through bespoke configuration. The large padded seat adjusts both vertically and horizontally and is easily secured using quick-release bolts. The handlebars also adjust vertically.
This intuitive system allows you to easily and accurately refine your stance for a perfect set up. The simple to use adjustment system ensures that you can quickly swap between users to ensure you are always using the bike to its maximum potential.
FRICTION RESISTANCE AND EMERGENCY STOP
The resistance control is both intuitive and infinite so you can tweak your ride as you progress towards your goal. Twist the resistance knob half a turn to simulate a hill or twist it the other way to reduce the intensity. Infinity resistance ensures all fitness levels will achieve an excellent workout. Push the emergency stop button for an immediate stop and to prevent accidents even when clipped in.
HANDLEBAR PULSE MEASUREMENT
Hold the handlebar pulse sensors during your workout for your heart rate to be transmitted to the computer display. Change the bike resistance or your cycling speed to increase your heart rate and keep within your target heart rate zone to get fitter faster.
CLEAR VIEW COMPUTER
Keep on top of your key stats. The computer on the JTX Cyclo-3: Indoor Racer Bike clearly displays time, speed, distance, RPM, calories and pulse, it also monitors total workout distance from the last computer reset.

EASY TO STORE AND MANEUVER
At 42kg this compact exercise bike is easier to store and move than some of the larger JTX bikes, whilst still sturdy enough for vigorous workouts. Included on the bike are transport wheels to enable you to move it with ease, this is especially useful if you have limited space, simply move your bike out of the way between uses. Plus the adjustable feet will reduce wobbles on uneven surfaces.
TABLET HOLDER
The ergonomically positioned tablet holder on the JTX Cyclo-3 allows you to easily view training apps and videos on your mobile device during workouts.
TOE CLIP PEDALS
The JTX Cyclo-3 comes with toe clips as standard. These ensure your feet won’t slip as you are pedalling. The toe clips have a flat pedal option underneath too.
The JTX Dual Pedal System is available as an optional upgrade. These pedals feature an SPD clip-in system, to use with cycling shoes, on one side and toe clips on the other. With the optional pedals you will train with greater efficiency as your muscles are used throughout the full pedalling motion (rather than just the downward push).

Exercise Bike Terminology
Flywheel
The flywheel is a weighted metal disk which is usually located at the front of the exercise bike that stores the momentum as you pedal.
The size of the flywheel is important as it will determine the exercise bike’s maximum resistance. A bigger flywheel will also provide a smoother ride.
SPD cleats
Shimano Pedaling Dynamics (SPD) is a clipless bicycle pedal design. A small cleat fits in a recess in the sole of a shoe designed for SPD use. The main advantage of SPD pedals is increased control and efficiency as you pedal.
Resistance
Racer exercise bikes use different types of resistance to simulate the sensation of riding a road bike. Different types of resistance include friction, magnets or air. Magnetic resistance is increased by moving magnets closer to the bikes' flywheel and creating drag. Friction (also known as infinity resistance) works by turning a knob that puts pressure on the flywheel, just like the brakes on a road bike. This type of resistance is commonly seen on indoor exercise bikes. Air bikes do not have gears or resistance levels. The resistance on air bikes is created by a large fan at the front of the bike. As you pedal faster, the more resistance is created and the harder your workout becomes.
