These pictures are carefully adjusted GRAYSCALE images from my children's book The Twelve Dancing Princesses. There are 24 main images, plus 12 bonus images with either outlines or borders added, for a total of 36 images to color. Note this is a digital download for you to print on your own paper. I used traditional oil on canvas when I created the original illustrations, so the images have a soft, painterly look. The tonal shading will show through your colors and give the picture depth and a realistic look, with a balance of light and darker areas. Try to keep a similar tonal pattern to the original picture, especially choosing pale colors for light areas as you plan your own color palette. The PDFs come with some tips on GRAYSCALE coloring, if you are new to it.
