The MCjakey shop began when my daughter, Janel, had a project in school. She needed to do something that would show that she can help her family. She asked me if we can do something together - a business that can be a source of income.
I've been thinking of opening an Etsy shop prior to her asking. So, I suggested to her that we open an Etsy shop selling printables. She agreed, I asked her to design a logo for the shop, and that's what we are using right now.
She also helped me create the first printable that we offered for sale - The Gratitude Journal for Kids. We were both so happy the first time we made a sale of this printable.
My daughter is busy with her studies nowadays, but her project prompted the start of this shop. I probably wouldn't have gone ahead with this shop if it wasn't for her. Though I am primarily the person behind most of the printable items offered for sale, from time to time, I still ask her for some help.
By the way, regarding the name and logo design of our shop name, there is a meaning to it. MCJAKEY stands for the first letter of the names of our family members. We used a heptagon as our logo because there are 7 of us in the family.
Thank you for reading and visiting our shop!
