5 out of 5 starsThe book has wonderful history to share on embroidery and the origin of many stitches. The photos are good for the most part but I do wish she had either numerical or alphabetical labels for the stitch sequences. I still had to watch videos on You Tube to get some of them just right. Overall lovely and I wish you could order a hard copy because I wanted the full color but that's too expensive to print off. Overall happy with puchase.
A wonderful and detailed resource for myself as a beginner of all things needle and thread. Appreciated having an easy to purchase resource which helped me finish embroidery kits. Sometimes the easiest of practices are not obvious to those who were never taught basic sewing skills. Sarah addresses the basics of how to start, but also includes so much information it encourages you to venture away from kits in order to try your own design, as well as dabble with more complex stitches.
I love this book. As a left hander I find it very difficult to find instructions that are easy to follow so this is a great help. I particularly like the photo index as it makes the stitches I want easy to find.
Sarah’s Customer Service was simply excellent. I am really enjoying her product
