Announcement
** I WILL BE OUT OF TOWN FROM APRIL 28TH UNTIL MAY 6TH. WHILE THE STORE WILL REMAIN OPEN, SHIPPING TIMES HAVE BEEN ADJUSTED TO COMPENSATE FOR MY ABSENCE.
I am still working on adding the new sizes/fabrics and colors.
We will have one of our hand dyed fabrics featured in the June 2024 edition of Just Cross Stitch magazine. It's very exciting and a great way for us to broaden our brand. We are hoping to collaborate with them on additional projects in the future and do some advertising with them so please look for the magazine at your local needlework store or subscribe. :)
2024 will see some changes to our Etsy store as we begin to focus more on our own brand (our own hand dyed fabrics and trims). We will be introducing a new line of rustic hand dyed Aida that is perfect for primitive stitching projects as well as some darker colors like different shades of red, gray and dark blue. We will also continue to expand our line of hand dyed Kona Cotton and will be introducing new hand dyed embossed fabrics.
Thank you for your patience regarding our shipping times. We are short staffed and currently extremely busy so shipping times have been extended. We are doing our best to get orders out as soon as possible but please contact us if you have any concerns.
Thank you to all of our customers for making 2023 a great year for us. Hopefully, 2024 will be just as awesome!
Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates, exclusive sales and more! And a big thank you to all our customers for your love, warm wishes and support!

Shipping Times
Our shipping time varies depending on how busy we are. Our hand dyed fabric is dyed to order - in the order it is received and the processing time can be anywhere from 2-10 business days. If we are very busy, I will update the shipping to reflect the delay. Please contact us if you are concerned about the actual shipping time and we will give you a more accurate time frame.
Corrections
Dream Big Little Mermaid - the floss list is incorrect on some charts. Please use the following information: A is E3949, B is 793, C is 4030 and D is 3810. All are DMC colors.
Willamina's Woolens - the fabric color used in the model should read Ocean Traditional not Midnight.
Sunflower Street - for the letter P - the floss color should be 744
Custom and personalized orders
In some situations, we may be able to accomodate custom sizes on our hand-dyed fabrics. It will be considered on a case by case basis. Please contact us for individual pricing. At this time, we are no longer doing custom colors. Larger sizes of our non-hand-dyed fabrics can be special ordered - please contact us for specifics and pricing.
Fabric Color/Images
Every computer, tablet, phone - represents color in a different way. Typically, this is no where near what the color actually looks like in person. Please do not base your fabric choice on the image you are seeing - for every listing, there is a DMC floss reference. Please use THIS information when deciding on a color for your project. But also remember that even this is just a reference. The hand-dyed fabric is just that - it is dyed entirely by hand - not mass produced in a factory some where. Each and every piece will be slightly different. We are also available for help and suggestions, please contact us and we will be happy to provide assistance.
Our Dyeing Process
We use two different methods to dye our fabric.
The Colet method of dyeing (a brush-on technique) is used for the Aida fabric in the BD Group. This technique produces a higher saturation of color and darker colors with heavier shading. The colors can be a light and dark version of the same color or a mixture of two or three different colors. The fabric itself retains the sizing, is stiffer and has virtually no wrinkles.
A traditional dip dye technique is used for the Aida in the DD Group, as well as, the Linda, Lugana and Linen fabrics. This technique produces softer color variations and a more solid color appearance with a bit of marbling. The fabric itself has a softer feel and will have some wrinkling.
Delayed shipping/lost in the mail items/un-delivered items
We ship on the same day that the shipping label is printed. We cannot control how long it takes for USPS or Fed Ex to get the item to you. Since Covid, there have been delays in customers receiving the orders. However, items are rarely actually lost in the mail. In the event that USPS marks an item as "in transit, arriving late" - we will not issue a refund or mail a new item out until at least 30 days have passed with out any updated tracking information. After 30 days, we will assume the item is truly lost in the mail and a new item will be shipped or a refund will be issued. In the event that USPS says an item has been delivered when it has not been - it is the buyers responsibility to contact USPS and file a claim for a lost item.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, we cannot accept returns for:
- custom orders
- digital downloads
- "short cut" fabrics
- paper charts
- clearance or special buy items
Returns/Exchanges
We do not do exchanges. If you receive your order and it does not meet your needs, please contact us within seven days to discuss a return. (See the list above for items that may not be returned). We will discuss the options and do our best to work with you.
Wholesale availability
We do offer a wholesale program for qualified buyers. This program is limited to Vintage NeedleArts products only (hand-dyed fabric, hand-dyed trims and our charts. Please contact us for more information about our wholesale program.
