Casa Samay was the perfect place to call home recently during my week's stay in Cozumel. I booked a single room which was ideally placed in the hostel, away from the social areas and right next to the shared bathroom. I slept well every night with the quiet surroundings and two fans in the room, adequate cooling in March. The hostel is super clean and has lots of amenities - shared kitchen which is well- organized (each guest has their own food cabinet) and stocked, distilled water, nice patio and eating area, great location with lots of non-touristy shops and restaurants in the area. What really made the stay was the kindness and attention given to me (and others) by the owners. I know that they're getting ready to set off on another adventure, and I just hope that the new owners will keep this high standard of service.
