Plague Doctors and Cats Toys

In 2018, I decided to design my own Plague Doctor mask for Halloween and our local Renaissance Festival. Working with leather for the first time, the mast turned out better than expected. I improved the mask's design and decided to open a shop on Etsy. Soon after, I ventured into making my first leather cat toy. The 2020 pandemic boosted sales of my Plague Doctor masks enough to invest and explore designing other products for my shop.

Having an Etsy shop checks several boxes for me. Every since I was a child, I wanted to have my own business, big or small. I enjoy brainstorming, creativity and working with my hands. My Post Office is a 1.5 mile round trip, so I walk my orders to the Post Office whenever possible for some exercise.

It's been a wonderful experience since joining the Etsy community. I have worked with many individuals on custom projects, carried on design idea discussions with customers and even made a few online friends along the way!
