Frequently asked questions
Delivery Information
All Items are shipped on a Next Day Delivery Service Via DPD. We do not use any other courier service.
Plants will only be shipped Monday-Thursday.
Due to the perishable nature of the goods, all items will only have 1 delivery attempt, and if not accepted by the buyer, they will be taken to a local DPD pick-up shop and held for 5 day before being returned to us.
DPD provides a free notification service and a 1-hour delivery window. They will also leave a card if you are unavailable at the first delivery giving you the pick-up shop details. If you require an item to be delivered on a specific day, please provide this information at checkout; however, we only deliver Tuesday-Friday.

Care instructions for each plant are available on request.
Issues with plant health
All issues with plant health or damage to the plant in shipping need to be highlighted to us within 12 hours of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for how you care for the plant and the environment the plant is kept in. All plant issues will be reviewed on an individual basis and a refund or return is not guaranteed due to the perishable nature of the plant. By purchasing a plant you are agreeing to the plant being shipped to you and the potential risk this may cause to the plants health, such as leaf loss and transit stress.
Heat Packs are available to add onto your order. We recommend 1 per 3 small plants or 1 per large plant. If a heat pack is not purchased we cannot be held responsible for cold damage during transit

Aesthetic issues
We do not accept returns for aesthetic reasons. All plants are individuals and may look different to the picture. The pictures on listings are representations of the species of plant you are buying and are not the exact plant. If you would like to see pictures of our current stock before buying please send us a message before purchasing.
We do not accept returns for reasons such as leaf numbers, browning to leaves caused by transit stress/lack of humidity in transit, historic pest damage, minor rips and tears, level of variegation or height of the plant. Your order is based on pot size of a plant that is adequately grown for that pot, the picture is just a representation of species.
Returns and undelivered parcels
We do not accept forced returns. On goods we do accept returns on, returns need to be agreed with us prior to being sent back and inspected on arrival.
If you miss your delivery and your item is sent back to us, this will be considered as a forced return and you will not be eligible for a full refund, as we will be charged £9 plus VAT for the courier returning it to us.
Missed deliveries
If a delivery is missed, and as a result, there is an issue with the plant, you will not be eligible for a refund. We ship plants next day delivery so plants are only in transit overnight minimising the potential for damage. If this process is delayed by the customer, for example not being home or
providing a safe place, no refund will be offered for any shipping damage or health issues caused by the length of transit time.
APHA Registration
We are fully registered with the government department for animal & plant health to issue plant passports. Our registration number is GB132010 and our details can be found on the APHA website. As a result of this we are obliged to obey the strict rules set out by APHA with regards to plant health and traceability. This means we are reliant on customers providing us the information listed in our policies and FAQ's for us to be able to use our discretion on accepting returns on plants. If this information isn't provided we will not be able to accept returns on any plants due to APHA restrictions.
