Kaitlin Jeanette Smith was selected in the Top Ten for NAILS Magazine Annual Cover Contest in 2018. She had previously been featured in the Cover Contest as a Noteworthy Entry in 2014, 2015, and 2016 ~ demonstrating both Quality and Consistency in her work. Kaitlin was chosen from an elite group of Professionals Nail Artists from around the World. Additionally, Kaitlin’s Mermaid Treasure Nails were featured in NAILS Magazine July 2013 with a full page “How to” article, and her “Chains of Love” nails were shown in Scott Publications Just Steampunk! Vol. 3, 2013.

Kaitlin both painted and modeled all of the nails shown in publication which requires ambidextrous hand skills. Unlike many of the entrants; Kaitlin does not have a corporate sponsor but rather works independently and chooses products according to what best actualizes her creative design process. She graduated as a Managing Manicurist in 2011. Kaitlin's Hand Painting Skills were Self-Taught.

Kaitlin's Designer Nail Spa is a Private Home Nail Salon located in Garrettsville, OH (Hiram Township). Services are available by Appointment Only. It is fully licensed and inspected by the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology. We offer fully private one-on-one Nail Services with NO interruptions.

Kaitlin is a Licensed Advanced Manicurist, Licensed Manicurist Instructor and the Owner of Kaitlin’s Designer Nail Spa (Licensed Facility).

Kelly Lynn Smith is a 3D Multimedia Design Artist with works in National Publication
since 1997. I have written for, had Photographs published in, and been
featured in Contemporary Dolls, Dollmaking, Doll World, Soft Dolls &
Animals!, and other publications too numerous to list. I have many
original cloth doll patterns in publication. I am a former member of
the Professional Dollmakers Art Guild having my work critiqued by other
Professional Artists. I received all positive comments and was admitted
at the highest entry level. I retired from Professional Dollmaking in 2013.

My original design "Geisha with Parasol" won a National Stained Glass
contest in 2010. In 2011; my crochet art was exhibited at the Art
Exhibit "Hook the Reef" in Hawaii. Three of my original patterns
(Octavius the Pacific Giant Octopus, Leif the Leafy Sea Dragon, & Cammie
the Pygmy Seahorse) were featured in Stackpole Publications Crochet
Critters & Bugs published in 2014. It is available at Amazon.com.

Currently, I am the Photographer and Advertising Manager for Kaitlin's
Designer Nail Spa. You will see many of my photographs in Publication
with my daughter's beautiful Nail Art. I am now offering Filter Pocket
Cloth Masks in response to Etsy's call to fulfill this need.
