I am an illustrator and graphic designer freelance. I illustrate books that are published throughout the world. I cooperate with leading Czech publishers and I am continuously working on various design projects. I have a head full of ideas and I need to put it on paper. I'm playing with shapes, flowers and figures. These characters come to life on paper and create a story. My illustrations are inspired by the style of the 50s and 60s of the last century. When creating I use the classic geometric shapes such typical graphic design of this period. I like to come back to those old times. Architecture, design, dress and way of life were so unique at that time.

In my mind I can get to all over the world through my illustrations.

My whole work is just a play. I love my job. I have a big family and my wife helps me very much with my business. My children are very playful and they pass it on me. When I draw they sit next to me and draw as well. That is great. I have a beautifull house where I live and work. There is a view on an old pine tree overgrown with an ivy. It is really important to have such a beautiful and peaceful place to work. It is reflected in it then. Custommers often write me about their enthusiasm and they like coming back into my shop.
I print all the illustrations by myself just to make sure that all of them are in the perfect quality. I check the colours, sign it and put it carefully into a cardboard tube. I believe that my illustrations derive pleasure.
