This is our version of the Book of Shadows.

A5 sized journal (blank pages).

Covered in faux leather or suede, front and back pages lined with black card.
Front design sculpted by me, moulded, the cast in resin and hand painted. Glass eye is also handmade.
Each journal takes as considerable amount of time, as the journal it's self needs to be modified.
The front design is moulded, cast, sanded, primed & primed. It then has a further 5-6 layers of paint to achieve the weathered look.
A glass eye is then made, and added to the front design before securing to the journal.

The journal itself is high quality, with 100gsm paper, and approx220 pages (110 sheets).
We use a base journal for these, so sizes may vary slightly.

Bought for my wife who was very happy with the book. It’s a little smaller than I imagined however the description is accurate so can’t complain. Will be taking pride of place somewhere once my wife has a reshuffle on the shelves. Was well packed and arrived in good time given the time the order was placed. The brown was a good choice and to my untrained eye is a pretty darn good replica of the book from the films. Well done and well crafted. Buy with confidence from this seller.
