  • "Amazing house, great for a mulit-generational family get together."

We met the friendly owners on arrival who gave us a helpful tour and their contacts for the week should there be any issues (there weren't). The house was immaculate, with 5 ensuite bedrooms, large reception rooms and a great garden for ball games. The views from the lounge and garden were so picturesque. A short walk across the road and over the golf course was an amazing beach, quiet, suitable for dogs and great for the youngsters to body board. We go away every year as a group of 10 and this was the best property we have ever stayed in. We will be back! Thoroughly recommend - thank you for a great week.

We are a group of 11 and every member of the group was totally positive about the property. It had everything that we wanted - games room, outside space, inside seating spaces which also afforded room for the musicians amongst us. The property was lovely and clean and the welcome from the property owners was great too. The views from the property were equally impressive. We had a fantastic holiday - shame we had to leave - but there’s always next year!!

The position of the property, overlooking the sea is beautiful too. Just sitting and watching the changing light with the tides or the night sky on such a vast scale is unique too. Would highly recommend. For us it was a special occasion and this property was ideal as it delivered the wow factor! Thankyou Dave and Gill.

We spent every morning in the sunroom taking it all in (on the sunny and the rainy days). Five minutes to the most incredible beach and a very safe and enclosed garden made it a great holiday for our dog too. The space was perfect for our party of 12 (6 adults, 6 children). David and Gill welcomed us with a generous array of supplies and came the same day when we there was a repair needed. Great hosts. Thanks for a very memorable holiday in beautiful surroundings.

The house is beautiful, large and bright as well as being well equipped and extremely comfortable. The panoramic views out over the sea and golf course are wonderful and watching the sun go down over the bay whilst eating on the outside patio was such a treat. The large enclosed garden is perfect for dogs and people and we enjoyed boules and badminton matches on the large lawn. The path In front of the house provided a safe and easy passageway to the lovely beach and we used it daily with small children and dogs. A perfect holiday spot for our large family group.

There are so many positive things I could mention. We walked daily to the beach via the footpath you can take near the top of the driveway down the steps alleviating any need to walk along the side of the road. The beach and surrounding area is just unspoiled - a walk back in time. Very relaxing and enjoyable time was had by all.

The kitchen is really well equipped with plenty of crockery, glass ware and cook ware. The huge dining table allowed for us to all eat together. Lounge areas are furnished with comfortable seating. The pool table is an added bonus and proved very popular with our group. As a large family group, we have stayed in many holiday homes and Brynmorwydd is, by far, the best one. The owners have certainly put a lot of thought into effort into their house. Thank you.

The house is lovely, very well equipped with quality fittings. Particularly liked the conservatory, with its comfortable chairs and fabulous views. The walk to the beach is hazardous and takes around 15 minutes. About 100 yards is on narrow busy road with no pavements. However, the beach is beautiful so worth the effort. The owners were charming and provided a very nice welcome pack.

Thank you for your feedback. There are now new steps and walk way to the beach so you do not need to walk on the busy road Property Owner

10 days before arriving I contacted the owner to ask if it would be possible to have access to an outdoor power point, as we have an electric car. When we arrived we discovered they had installed an outside power point, in a convenient location for both guests and outdoor maintenance. Thank you! We were so fortunate with the weather! • "Brynmorwydd is exactly as described but it is difficult to fully emphasise the spectacular location."

Perched on a great vantage point on a hill it overlooks a golf course and the ocean. It takes just 5 minutes to reach the golf course by foot. There are a number of paths across the gold course which takes you onto a sandy beach. When the tide is out the beach is somewhere between 70-100 mtrs wide and you can easily walk 3 kms along the beach towards the town of Tywyn. It you are a group of golfers then it is perfect, if you are a family with a dog it is equally perfect and offers great walks both around the beach area or hill walks behind the house. Coming out of the lock down there were challenges preventing dining out but the local restaurants did some amazing speciality meals for collection and with some astute study of the local shop hours we were never without any essentials. It is less than two hours drive to Llanberis or Pen y Pass so easily allows a climb of Snowdon on the same trip. There are some waves which encourage the surfers but take a wet suit, even on the warmer days there can be a cool breeze as elsewhere ion the UK. Dave the owner is very helpful and down to earth. Fully recommend this cottage and location...!
