Simple yet wholeheartedly handcrafted wedding & anniversary rings with a Japanese touch.
Welcome to Locca Marriage! Thank you for visiting my Etsy shop.
Locca Marriage values the warmth of the handmade. All rings are carefully crafted by hand in my studio in the Scottish countryside. My jewellery is made without using any electric tools to achieve a comfortable fit and maximise the beauty of the precious metal.
If my work could bring even a slightest feeling of freedom, peace, belief, courage, confidence or rejoicing for someone’s life, then I would be most honoured.
All items are made with ethical recycled precious metal and will come in a traditional Japanese wooden gift box.
Locca Marriage has a sister shop of Japanese enamel jewellery, EMOSIWN https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/EMOSIWN

5 out of 5 starsI damaged my ring whilst working and messaged Yukiko to see if it could be fixed. Within one week Yukiko responded, organised postage and fixed the ring, as always amazing service and high quality ring. Thank you

5 out of 5 starsShops like this are what Etsy is about, I think. Yukiko responded thoroughly and promptly to all my questions and worked with me on sizing, always in the most kind and respectful manner. Opening the package was a wonderful experience--excellent presentation and attention to detail (there's even a description of the wooden box and red stamp embossed on the side). The ring is beautiful in a way that only hand-made items are, an attractive blend of natural material and the craftsperson's hand. Its surface is slightly rough, but the tiny hammer-marks gleam occasionally in a subtle, understated way when I move my hand. Discreet beauty. It's too bad I only need one ring, because I would love to go through the ordering process again one day (I won't "lose" this ring to do so however, ha ha).

5 out of 5 starsI honestly can not praise and recommend enough. Our rings are absolutely perfect and were made and shipped so fast. The sizing is so spot on that it barely feels like we are wearing the rings and they were packaged so beautifully and carefully. We couldn't be happier with our rings and can not wait to wear them for years to come.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely beautiful. The wrapping and service and communication were incredible with a prompt delivery. We actually ordered these as tester rings to see if the width and style suited us, but they fit so well and look great so we've decided these will now actually be our wedding rings. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions
WHAT IF I'M NOT SURE ABOUT MY RING SIZE?
The best way to determine your size is to visit a local jewellery shop or purchase ring sizers online. The size of each finger changes depending on the day or season so please make sure your finger condition is normal. Please do not measure your size by using a string or a paper strip for the circumference to convert the size as it is difficult to determine the accurate size by this method.
Please keep this idea in mind that a wedding ring should be a secure fit on your finger and it's better that you need to twist slightly when you remove the ring from your finger.
CAN YOU ARRANGE A FAST SERVICE?
Please check the shipping schedule for each item before placing an order. I can usually arrange faster schedule than the estimated time. Regarding hallmarking for gold rings, I can arrange a priority service with an extra cost. If you have a tight schedule, please feel free to contact me.
WHAT IF I ORDER THE RING THAT DID NOT FIT?
For most simple marriage rings, I can usually resize. Please contact me first before you make an arrangement. It normally costs between £20 and £30 for silver items, £35 and £45 for gold items. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
DO YOU HAVE AN ENGRAVING SERVICE?
I'm sorry but I am currently not doing any engraving. Please ask your local jewellers or hardware shops that offer this service.
JEWELLERY CARE
Jewellery is delicate so the best way to maintain its original condition is to take it off it when you work with, or do something that could damage it, such as doing DIY or playing sport.
If you wear your ring on a regular basis, it tends to retain its bright colour. For silver and gold rings without enamel, I would recommend a polishing cloth to remove any tarnish.
For oxidised rings, in order to maximise the blackened effect, the best way is to remove the ring when washing your hands or showering and to minimise contact with things that might affect the colour. I would be happy to offer a re-oxidising service upon request, however it’s a natural process so the darkened colour will slightly vary each time.
