This listing is for the knitting PATTERN. It is a digital download. Upon completing your purchase you will receive a PDF file containing step by step instructions on how to make the Swirling Pearl Beanie.
The Swirling Pearl Beanie is an easy knitting pattern using only knits and purls. It has popping texture and can be done in a lighter, looser knit for a spring beanie, or in a heavier, tighter knit to keep you just as cozy as the winter weather demands. It is suitable for knitters of all levels.
YARN:
The pattern is written for a lighter super bulky yarn (6) or heavier bulky yarn (5). It can also be done with a double strand of heavier worsted/aran (4). I used (easy to find) Caron Cake - Chunky yarn to make the multi-color beanies pictured, Loops & Threads Charisma (by Michaels) for the gray, and Knit Picks 100% Peruvian wool in bulky for the variegated teal (lighter weight) version. The pattern lists other yarn options that also work great, and gauge is included to ensure proper sizing.
SIZES:
The 5 sizes included in the pattern are: newborn baby, baby (6-18+ months), toddler/child, adult S/M, and adult L/XL. The adult S/M is ideal for most heads - from tweens to the average adult.
NEEDLES:
16” Circular Knitting Needles in US 10 (6mm) and US 10.5 (6.5mm) (or DPNs, if preferred)
