I ordered the 36 inch scratching post. The cats enjoy being able to stretch on the taller post. We already had the shorter post and they like that one too. The cats took to the scratching post very quickly. I put a cat toy on top of the post and they climbed up to get it. Post and base came well packed in paper . It arrived in good condition even though one end of box was a bit scrunched. It is a good quality, sturdy post and looks good too. It helps to have an electric screwdriver drill to put it together.

Well made and good looking enough to be in the living room. Heavy and balanced enough to stay upright when my 10# cat attacks it. She likes to sit on top of it.
