Easy-knit lace infinity scarf KNITTING PATTERN - suitable for improving beginners. Knits up in no time on large needles - can be made to any length, but to make the version in the photos you need -

Can be worn as a long infinity scarf, or doubled, as in the main photo.
Choose a beautiful, soft and natural yarn in a lovely spring color - or make it in white for a really cool look.

Approx 350 yards of DK cotton yarn (scarf is worked with two strands of yarn knitted together) and 1 x pair of 8mm knitting needles (US size 11).

RE Yarn choices – I used 2 x 50g balls of Rowan All Seasons Cotton, and 2 x 50g balls of Wendy ‘Pure’ 100% Bamboo). This yarn is a tape construction which has a silky quality that gives the scarf a nice heavy drape. The advantage of using two strands is that you can vary the texture or color of each to give interesting effects (the bamboo tape is cream and the cotton yarn is white).
