This Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid is an ode to Japan and the intricacies of sashiko. The construction is as expected, with a comfortable Zoom Air cushioning unit and durable mixed material uppers, but the details elevate it beyond a skatepark staple. The neutral sesame brown hue is joined by deep indigo denim overlays – another nod towards Japan – and tied together with decorative sashiko stitching throughout. It’s artistic and almost too good to take to the skatepark. Almost.
