All of our stools are made from quality, select pine and are finished with multiple layers of high quality polyurethane for a lasting finish. A special outdoor polyurethane can be used if the stool will be outside. Just mention it in the buyer notes at purchase.

The railings are made from stain quality 1/2 inch plywood, sanded and finished with the same paint or stain as the stool order. They attach with very heavy duty Philips head bolts into carefully hand drilled and ported bolt sockets embedded into sides of the stool. See listing pics for examples of the receiving side bolt sockets embedded in the stool sides.

At 35 inches tall, this fell perfectly flush to the underneath of our tiled countertops in our listing pics, but can be adjusted for your needs as well. Message Mike for details. Additional shipping may need to be covered by the buyer if it's outside our 'free shipping' box size of 36 inches.

The stool is fully finished independently, giving the buyer the option to install the railings on one side only, both, or without it, making these railings completely optional and can be removed or added as needed. All hardware is included, which amounts to 4 Phillips head bolts per side.

The railings are custom built, installed, verified for quality, removed, and carefully packed for shipping. We then ship them separately from the stool in our flat style American flag box. Even though we offer 'free shipping' across our shop, we incur 2 shipping charges for getting this one to you, as the rails will not fit in the stool box.
