Announcement
A year ago I put together a kit for two people to each carve a spoon. My idea at the time was to enable people an opportunity to not just give a physical gift but to also give a gift of the time. Parents and children, partners and friends can share time and the creative experience. I have a thirty percent off sale between now and Valentines day.

5 out of 5 starsProduct was exactly as described, and came much faster than I thought it would. Also included in the quality packing was a note from the seller offering additional information if I need it in the future. These items (proper worry-bird blanks) are very difficult to find, so I feel as if I hit the jackpot!

5 out of 5 starsShipped so fast. This kit is great; and the tools & spoon blank are nice quality. It came with a nice note from the maker with additional info and resources - super nice touch!

4 out of 5 starsMy son loved being able to carve his own bird but he did have some trouble with the gloves. He is ten and they gloves were big on him and made it hard to hold the knife and wood.

A Johnson Lumber mill
VT, United States
The A Johnson Lumber mill has been producing sustainably harvested hardwoods since the early 20th century. They maintain forests in Vermont and New York State as good stewards of the land. I purchase rough cut kiln dried lumber from them.
